Summer skate classes available in Manhattan and Brooklyn

I've run private , and group classes, at skate parks around Brooklyn, and Manhattan, Nyc, since 2009. I helped start Skateyogi and worked for Homage skate school, Skate Brooklyn, 12th and A. I run skate classes currently at Trevor day school in Manhattan, beside running private classes with my own company. As long as the park is reasonable I'm down to meet at just about any local skatepark. The parks I'd recommend are Tribeca skatepark, Les, Tompkins Blue park in Brooklyn. Fat kid spot under the BQE in Brooklyn, and Riverside skatepark. They are the easiest for me to get too. Feel free to text me...👊🏾

Friends seminary summer skate camp...

I had the opportunity to help run the summer skate camp with my buddy Kevin for the last two weeks. We had access to a private skate park on a rooftop in Manhattan, and had a blast!
Here are a few clips we filmed after class...enjoy!

Slime 2: A New York city skateboarding video..

My good friend Tarela filmed  this video 2012 and into 2013 and it premiered in the east village summer 2013. Im featured in the friends section as "Cory Diallo", Diallo is actually my middle name...enjoy...

Beef of the boards, the short side and the long side

My friend Brad @bradleygnarbucks asked me to help him with a video for his final project in his film class, the premise I think was, two things that come from the same place but are conflicting, or something along those lines.

Skateboarding is skateboarding, but it is obvious that the skateboard scene and the long board scene have alot of differences, but there isnt actually really any beef, this was just the name he came up with for his project. Its unfortunate but some longboarders took offense to this which I still do not understand, I long board every now and then but I like the feeling of being able to ollie and do tricks and not be grounded, some people just like to cruise. Which is also awesome. Just do what you love doing, Im featured in the first video, check out the second one also, for a longboarders take on the differences in the scene...

Mikey from 12th and A skate class, Kicker to 50-50 on the mini flat bar..

So when I first started teaching the skate class at 12th and A, these kids could not even ollie. A year passes and this was a random day, one of the kids runs up and says hes grinding the rail, to which I replied, no way!
I turn around and this happened..this blew my mind, because I can grind that silly little rail but hitting the kicker onto it is pretty sketchy...

My first triple kickflip...

This trick is pretty hard, I think anyone who can do a kickflip, or a double kickflip can land a triple, it just takes some effort and timing, Id say I probably tried this over a dozen times before I landed this one...
